Adding the JUICE™ Preamplifier to your antenna installation provides dependable reception in urban, suburban, and rural areas. The extra JUICE™ will help overcome challenges including coaxial cables over 100 ft., the use of splitters, and weak signals. The JUICE™ UHF/VHF Preamplifier system offers ample gain and best-in-class overload protection to prevent strong signals from compromising the preamplifier’s ability to consistently deliver the best picture and sound available. With a < 3 dB low-noise figure, the JUICE™ provides signal amplification without adding artifacts while also offering maximum signal-to-noise ratio for efficient tuning.

Helpful Tip: To determine if you need a JUICE™ Preamplifier, first make sure your antenna is pointed in the direction of your local broadcast towers. Connect only one TV or converter box to the antenna. Perform a channel scan using the remote control for your TV/converter box. If you are not able to receive all of your local TV stations, then there is a good chance you need a preamplifier to help boost the weak signals.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wish I'd have done this years ago!! GREAT VALUE!! Before you buy, call their customer support and have them recommend the correct unit for your location and situation. I'm in the middle of nowhere in NW Minnesota, and I still get 30 channels, including ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox, PBS. Most of my signals are coming from between 80 and 120 miles away, and are very consistent and clear. Only rarely does weather of any kind effect the signal, and then it never effects all the channels. I credit this to the Juice amplifier. My antenna is mounted on the peak of my attached garage, and is only about 22 feet in the air at the top. Installation was very easy, and you don't need to be "tech savvy" to do it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A must for anyone living in rural area!!!!! I recently cut the cord with directv and purchased an antenna. It was positioned on my roof about 35ft off the ground. I live in an area with many large Hills about 45 miles east of pittsburgh. I was getting some channels on the TV closest to the antenna with a weak signal. I connected juice and now get all of the local channels offered in Pittsburgh on all 4 tvs in my home. There are a total of 3 splitters throughout my lines and the longest line I have is over 125ft long. Without amp I would be forced to pay for directv with their constantly rising prices. Also the picture quality is noticeably better than directv though they advertise 100 percent digital hd. I am very pleased with this purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Outstanding preamplifier with overload protection I installed the Juice preamplifier today. It is exceptional. I live 30 miles from downtown Atlanta, GA which has many broadcasting towers. I am using the clearstream 2V longrange antenna. It did receive all channels that had strong transmitter signals but, it didn't receive the weaker stations. So, after installing the Juice, I did an auto channel search on my Samsung TV. I was thrilled to get about 30 more stations that had weaker broadcast signals. Most importantly, the Juice has overload protection. So, it want get burned out and overloaded from the TV stations that have much stronger transmitters. Come on and join the bandwagon to cut the cable cord.....thank you antennasdirect

Rated 5 out of 5 by from solved my problem Back in May 2017, one local station sold their high power license (1000 kW to 100 kW), so is now a low power station. Per the station engineer, we should have been able to receive the signal. However, before the change, I had no problem; after, no signal at all. The recommendation was to try the Juice preamp. Installation was easy. After relocating the antenna to a more suitable position, the low power station, as well as another that was iffy, came in strong. Not only that but I also received another 15 but they necessitate clear days for reception, as the antenna is not aimed in their direction. All in all, a great solution.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worked for six years This is a CPA-19 that I bought in the year 2012 to work with my DB8 antenna bundle. It had worked continuously for six years. When it failed, it caused total antenna signal loss and its power supply felt noticeably hot. I removed it and hooked my DB8 antenna directly. I re-scanned the channels and compared it to the signal strength I was receiving when the AMP was working. I discovered there was little difference in signal strength on all channels. My conclusion is: An AMP might be appropriate in certain situations. However, It adds a potential failure point in your configuration and I would recommend trying an AMP as a last resort. Antenna size, height, quality cables, and minimizing the number of televisions connected simultaneously are areas I would concentrate on before buying an AMP to improve signal strength. Benchmark your before after results, before committing to use an AMP.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just what I needed. I recently purchased the ClearStream juice preamp to go with my 10-15 year old Antenna's Direct DB2 that's mounted in the attic. I live in San Diego, and socal is a great place for an antenna because all the transmission towers are on mountains. I have my antenna pointed at the Los Angeles transmitter's that are about 130 miles away and I get the L.A. and S.D. channels, 81 total. Before I got the preamp I had some weak and intermittent signals but the "juice" fixed that problem. I still get an occasional drop out from the L.A. stations, but that's minimal (maybe 5% of the time). After all they are 130 miles away.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing Amplifier!!!!!!! I'm here to tell you you open the package to clear instructions then you feel the quality before even putting the amplifier on the mast with it in hand you can tell that you have something substantial after mounting and completing the install with my element antenna from antennas Direct I was pleasantly surprised with the performance of this unit works amazingly well picking up channels well over fifty miles away with the element antenna the over amplification protection I must say works well I have had zero issues I'm picking up a total of 30 Clear Channel's with no pixelation I had to delete 10 channels from my list because I was actually picking up multiple duplicate channels LOL If you're worried about durability then this is definitely the amplifier for you.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Honesty This antenna gets me 50 channels. Some are not perfect and pixelate due to all the surrounding trees. I have 40 channels that are crystal clear as if it was cable. It was east to install and with the great customer service from Antennas Direct Team they can guide you thru any problems you may have with your setup.
