Ah, the Winter Olympics. The time, every four years, we have the pleasure to watch the most talented athletes in the world compete for their country, while we judge them. “He could have gone so much faster; that was not his best time.” “That was a weak toe jump; she calls herself a figure skater? But her costume is cute.” “I think I’d be amazing at curling; maybe I should take up a new sport.”
Admit it, we’ve all been there, watching sports we know very little about, but during the Olympics we become an expert. I’ve seen The Cutting Edge, so I have every right to judge the figure skating competition. It goes without saying, we’re pretty excited for this year’s Winter Olympics in PyeongChang.
The 2018 Winter Olympics will begin on Friday, February 9th and ends with the closing ceremony on Sunday, February 25th. Essentially this means we’ll be watching the Olympics for the entire month of February, and we’re not mad about it!
The best part about the Olympics (other than the amazing costumes, incredible talent, and rad sports), is that it’s aired on NBC! That’s right cord cutters, you won’t have to miss a moment of the athletic action. All you need is a TV antenna! And if you would like to record some of the Olympic events and watch them later, and at your leisure, then you’ll want to include a ClearStream TV to your home theater setup. You can find the full Winter Olympics schedule on the PyeongChang 2018 website. Be sure to note that all times stated in the competition schedule are based on Korean Standard Time. We’d hate for you to sit down in front of your TV or check your recordings on the ClearStream TV app and say, “this doesn’t look like hockey… why are they standing on two little sticks with some rods and sliding down snow?” Man, that would be very disappointing.
