Splitting the signal to multiple TVs or converter boxes will result in a certain amount of signal loss. The 4-Output HDTV Distribution Amplifier will boost signal strength for reliable picture quality and reception. Designed for both home and professional use, the CDA4 distribution amplifier can also be used when 50 feet or more of coaxial cable is used between the antenna and the TV or converter box. Distribution amplifiers counter this loss by boosting the available signal from the coaxial cable coming from the TV antenna. Our CDA4 Distribution Amplifier is commonly used in homes and businesses where the TV antenna needs to distribute signals to as many as four TVs without impacting the signal quality.

Kit includes everything you need to get started:
• Low-Noise 4-Output HDTV Distribution Amplifier
• Power Supply, 15V DC with Overload Protection
• One 40in. High-Performance Coaxial Cable
• Assembly and Installation Instructions

For Indoor and Outdoor Use
This distribution amplifier is recommended for indoor use, but can be used outdoors. For outdoor use, we recommend using a watertight F-connector along with weather boots to protect the connections from the environment.

Helpful tips: If installing outdoors, you will need a power inserter to allow the included power supply to share the coaxial cable connected to the designated output show on the Distribution Amplifier. You should also consider 75 Ohm F-termination caps for any unused outputs.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice and small. Tough Everything works great. Mounts easily and channels come in as clear as cable if not better. I have one gripe about this. The instructions say if you do not use one of these extensions then you may have to use a 50 or 75 ohm end. I wish they would of came with the amp or at least two of them, or maybe AD could of asked how many I need. I am a big guy and romping around in my attic to see if the picture comes in clear or not then to run out to the electric store and bring one home is a pain in my backside. Lesson learned. Maybe post the instructions so people can read before hand and they would find out I need one or two of those things.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great TV reception I bought the 4 output T/V CATV Distribution Amplifier along with DB8e antenna assembly. I installed everything and set the panels as directed, went to each TV and ran the channel scan and I began watching crystal clear high definition TV on 4 TV's 1 in the living room, 1in the family room and 2 bedrooms. We get the channels we have been used to watching for free! We now save $140. per month by eliminating cable TV. We can operate our TV's with the factory supplied remote instead of needing 2 remotes for each TV and paying the energy bill on powering up 4 cable boxes 24/7 . I only wish I did this sooner.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Does exactly what it is supposed to do This last weekend I installed my Clearstream 2V in my attic at my new home and tested the signal at the antenna using a Hauppauge tuner and their signal strength monitor software. Once I had the antenna aimed and set I went about running my coaxial through the house to the various drops and I tied it all together with the CDA4 distribution amp. I installed the amp at the end of a 50' foot run to split the signal to 4 different rooms. Tested the signal strength again at each drop and the signal was just as good if not even better at each outlet. Worked perfect. Best solution if you are running coax to each room is a home run to the distribution amp with no splitters. You do that and add this amp you are going to have no problems. Antennas direct makes great products. A+

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Superb Products and Service Expertise! I live a long way from Chicago but with excellent guidance from Alex (she KNOWS her stuff!) I got simple, straightforward installation advice and the right equipment the first time around. I CUT THE CABLE TV BILL COMPLETELY!!! and get BETTER viewing quality than when I was forking over $$$ to Comcast! My wife did miss a few of the cooking channels and we added SlingTV - now we have everything we used to watch but our television bill went from $129 / mo to $20 a month (for SlingTV). Neighbors come to my house to watch the games when DirecTV gives those weird pixelated television pictures!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works wonderfully! I bought this item to take my country TV from the old analog/satellite systems into the digital age and cost-free except for installation materials. I can't tell you how easy to install it was and how well it paired with my old, existing equipment. Installation was complete and I said goodbye to the workman just as the Kentucky Derby was about to run. I saw American Pharaoh win the race in beautiful, clear living color with excellent reception and sound quality...all down in a river valley in a remote location in the Ozarks! What a treat! Thank you for all your advice, phone support and the return of the items I really didn't need but thought I might. I have already recommended your company to many others.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from I have your Clear Stream 2 Antenna and the 4 output TV / CATV Distribution Amplifier on a four foot post aiming at local station relay antennas about four miles away. Garbage reception at best. I think it's more "head space" on my part but have yet to find someone in this area that speaks "Antenna"---I get the response--Get Cable or Sat. When pressed--they know nothing. I could use some information on impedance matching of the RF cables and different frequency ranges of splitters available that would match the cable. Aggraviting because I know it can be lots better and I can't get there.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Exceeded expectations My antenna, the 4v, has exceeded my expectations. We live approximately 22 miles from the broadcast towers. I mounted the unit to the roof of the house and ordered the 4 output amplifier. Once the amp arrived I made all of my connections and ran the auto channel program in all three of my TVs. The first and second floor TVs picked up 36 total channels, 35 of which are digital. The basement TV picked up 32 channels. Not bad for a 100' cable length run from the amp. It turned out so well that I am considering helping others pick out digital antennas and offering installation as a part-time gig.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Blown away by Antenna's Direct Solution I recently moved to a new home in Fort Atkinson, WI which is about 30 miles from Madison and 50 miles from Milwaukee. The drawback of the new home is that it is in an extremely challenging geographic location. This is what the Antenna’s Direct person said about my location: “I wouldn't bank on reliable reception from Milwaukee (almost no matter what). Your signal path in that direction is screened by trees (makes reception unreliable when leafed out and wet/windy), is immediately uphill (signals can't bend downward in that short of distance), is 50 miles away with significant hills/terrain in the path which severely weakens signals, and, finally, that new house on the hill in that direction is dead in your signal path. Unless you're prepared to either install a 60+'…” They went on to say that if I wanted to try to get Milwaukee that I should get the DB8e antenna along with the CDA4. I decided to give it a try and put the antenna on my roof with both panels aimed towards Milwaukee. I experimented with various positions until I was confident I had the best possible spot. I am able to get all the Milwaukee channels and the Madison channels without having to rotate the antenna. I’m also getting some Rockford stations and a few others I don’t recognize. All I can say is that the performance of the antenna/amplifier combination has been outstanding! Most of the time the signal strength from the Milwaukee stations is 5/5 bars. The lowest I’ve seen thus far is 3/5 on one of the stations. Even though the antenna is facing Milwaukee the Madison channels are all full strength. These Antenna’s Direct products are awesome. They are extremely well built and the Antenna was easy to assemble (I had my 11 year old son do it while I was preparing the cable). I would also add that the staff at Antenna’s Direct are very knowledgeable and helpful. From the quote above, they obviously made no promises with my situation. Their products blew away my expectations. I highly recommend them!
