The Ultimate Cord Cutter’s Guide to March Madness

March Madness is finally here! You might be thinking, “Without cable or satellite, how am I suppose to watch March Madness?” Well friends, we have compiled the Ultimate Cord Cutter’s Guide to March Madness just for you.

  1. Know your network.

To give you a little background, March Madness games are split across four TV Networks: TBS, CBS, TNT and truTV. Games are happening simultaneously across these three networks over the next few weeks.

  1. Get the most for your money.

Between a TV antenna and Sling TV, you will have access to all four channels March Madness will be broadcast on (CBS/truTV/TBS/TNT). How is that possible? That seems too good to be true. It’s not! Here’s the break down.

With the Sling TV basic package, you will be able to watch the TBS and TNT games. For an additional $5 a month, you can upgrade and receive truTV. Mix in a TV antenna to receive CBS, and you have access to all the games! Sling offers a 7-day trial to test it out and see what you think, so give it a try for a week and enjoy the games.

  1. Watch even when you can’t get to a TV.

At work or no access to a television for the games? Not a problem. March Madness Live allows you to watch all CBS broadcast games online without entering any pay-TV credentials. Another great option is CBS Sports. CBS Sports stream a few March Madness games online for free at CBSSports.com or you can stream the games on their mobile app. Now make sure your boss isn’t watching, grab some snacks and watch the game wherever you are.

Being a cord cutter doesn’t mean you have to miss out. Not only can you watch and enjoy March Madness, but you will do so for a fraction of the price of your former cable bill.
