HDTV Antenna company Antennas Direct to introduce Four New WLAN Antennas

June 29, 2006, EUREKA, MO -- HDTV antenna manufacturer Antennas Direct will expand into wireless networking this summer with the introduction of a new line of wireless local area network (WLAN) antennas.

The new line features four very different WLAN antennas to serve a variety of wireless signal needs. While each model has unique features, all are IEEE 802.11 b/g compliant, and operate on a frequency of 2.4 GHz.

The 5-360 DXG is a flexible WLAN antenna that is designed for environments where power and appearance are both priorities. It is designed to allow tabletop, wall or ceiling mounting. It features a max gain of 5dBi, making it a powerful, compact antenna for indoor use. The 5-360 boasts a 360 degree beam width, providing complete coverage for any office environment.

The 12-360 DXG is an all-weather, outdoor fixed WLAN made with an advanced resin polymer plastic, making it resistant to chemical and UV deterioration. At 12dBi max gain, it is a powerful antenna that is ideal for campuses, office parks and town centers. The 12-360 DXG features a 360 degree beam width and a very low profile, which makes it especially useful in areas where neighborhood compatibility is a concern.

The 12-90 DXG is a compact corner reflector WLAN antenna. With a max gain of 12dBi, it is ideal for large offices, common areas, and larger facilities where signal reliability is critical. It comes with a wall bracket that attaches easily to any indoor corner, and is designed to complement any interior setting.

The 11-180 DXG offers higher antenna efficiency in a small package. It features a 180 degree beam width and 11dBi of max gain, providing high reliability and high power in indoor environments where consistency and reliability are critical.
