Antennas Direct Announces Fry’s Electronics to Carry the Company’s Over-the-Air Antennas

June 28, 2010: St. Louis, MO - Fry's Electronics, one of the nation's leading electronics retailers, will begin carrying Antennas Direct products, joining a broadening group of big-box retailers. A year after the digital television conversion, a trend has emerged for pay-TV customers to cut the cord on their cable or satellite service for over-the-air television. Following this trend Fry's will carry Antennas Direct in their 34 stores nationwide, tapping into the growing 21 million antenna reliant homes.

As the word about over-the-air television spreads, antenna-reliant homes have continued to increase. According to The Convergence Consulting Group a strategy consulting company, nearly 800, 000 households in the U.S. has cancelled their cable and satellite provides by the end of 2009 and an estimated1.6 million households will cancel their cable or satellite by the end of 2011.
