Antennas Direct Finds Success with Picture Frame Antenna

July 17, 2007: ST. LOUIS, MO -- Antennas Direct's PF7 Picture Frame Antenna combines an innovative, consumer-friendly design with a highly effective way to get HD programming. These factors have led to the success of the product.

The PF7 is an indoor HDTV antenna, disguised in an 8"x10" picture frame. The antenna works well in strong signal areas, typically within 15 miles of the signal transmitter. The frame can be wall mounted or displayed on a table with a stand.

"The PF7 is one of a number of new antennas we've designed that reach out to a mainstream audience," Antennas Direct President Richard Schneider said. "We've conducted extensive research to develop products that satisfy our customers' demand for high performance and superior aesthetics."

The unique antenna has 6.5 dB of max gain and comes with a 75 ohm RG6 coaxial cable, fitted with an F-type connector. It is 9" x 11" and weighs just 1.5 lbs.

Sales of the PF7 and other antennas have been strong in 2007, with triple-digit growth, showing a demand for antennas.

Schneider started Antennas Direct in 2003, after becoming frustrated with the poor performance of several HDTV antennas he had tried. Schneider has continued to grow the company in that spirit of innovation, and plans to announce major breakthroughs in antenna design and performance research with the introduction of its Lacrosse Micron line of antennas, due out later this year. Plans are also in the works for additional indoor low profile antennas that can be disguised as other household objects.

Antennas Direct has been featured in a number of top industry publications and has received rave reviews from industry insiders for its innovative product line. The antenna has also been featured in mainstream media including The Today Show and CNBC's On The Money.

Antennas Direct is a St. Louis-based manufacturer and distributor of off air HDTV antennas. The company was founded by Richard Schneider, and continues to be recognized for superior products by the HDTV community. For additional information on Antennas Direct, visit www.antennasdirect.com.
