  • For outdoor and attic use
  • DC Power Pass on UHF Port
  • Weatherproof enclosure
  • Includes mast mounting hardware for masts up to 1 ¾” (4.5 cm)
  • Coaxial cable sold separately and accepts RG6 and RG59 coaxial cable only (the enclosure will not accept larger diameter coaxial cable, such as RG11)

Helpful Tips:
The DC power pass on the UHF port allows for UHF-only amplification in special circumstances. Example: UHF signals require amplification, but the VHF signals may not. Or a customer has an existing amplified antenna, but also needs to add aseparate VHF antenna that doesn't need amplification.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from beware of limitations! I recently added a Clearstream5 (hi VHF) to my outdoor DB8 (UHF) to ensure reception of VHF. I also upgraded the coax cable to A.D.'s "superior" (& thicker) version, which is rated RG11 vs. the old RG6. I also got their "combiner" & bought two 3-foot RG11 cables from another online store to connect the antennas to the new main cable in the combiner box. Surprise! The plastic box is not big enough to handle all 3 fittings & close properly. Thus, it was a combination of duct tape & zip ties needed to secure the unit on our rooftop tripod mast. So, I am looking for a larger plastic box for a weather-proof housing. The good news is that our TV reception is the best ever.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works Good Assembly instructions could have been better, I suggest watching the online video's. I'm getting 39 channels in Dawsonville, GA. I'm pretty happy with that. I used the DB8e, Clearstream 5, Antenna Combiner, and CDA4 amp. I have 5 TV's running from this setup. Purchased (1) galvanized pipe and chopped the ole dish mount up to make a pretty nice mount for the antenna pole. Use tvfool.com for aiming the antenna. you will need a compass. Also the sales person was very helpful in helping me figure out what I needed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from May be overkill, but it works great. I was looking for UHF and VHF to the northwest and UHF to the northeast, both about 75 miles. My 50 yr old Channel Master, aimed northwest picked up everything except channel 13 (VHF) and nothing northeast. Robin suggested the C5 VHF antenna plus the single UHF antenna to replace what I had. Then she added that I could get the DB8-E UHF and aim it northeast and northwest. This combination gets every station on the map. Installation was as easy as installing an antenna on a chimney can be. I could have gotten by with less, but glad I went all the way.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Superior !!! I purchased a C1C convertible antenna & combined it with a VHF antenna I already had. since nearly all broadcasts are carried on UHF I still had some distant VHF stations I wanted to receive. The add on VHF was not big enough to reach the distance I wanted. I mounted it directly behind the screen of the C1C with a 1' coax line. & ran a 3' cable to the VHF side since VHF carries better then a single down lead.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not Good for my area I bought a couple of different antennas from Antennas Direct and they just weren't strong enough for where I live, 22 miles outside of Atlanta, Ga. I finally contacted a local antenna guy, and he said the antenna I had bought was not strong enough and that AD had asked him to sell their antennas but he declined because they weren't strong enough for our area. With my new antenna from the local guy I finally get a lot of channels, including all the 4 local PBS stations. I only got one of the local PBS channels with the AD antenna.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from excellent I am a woman and I found it very easy to install the pitcher is beautiful I get 36 channels most of the time I say 36 because I get wsky, escape, laff , and grit, they are channel 4.1 4.2 4.3 4.4 and I was told they were cut off for antenna users but sometimes I can pick them up any way. so any way I like the antenna I think it works great and I am saving a lot of money not having cable and I really like that. I put it on the roof for the best pick up.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from real nice system We have a DB8e antenna coupled to a Clearstream 5 using Antennas Direct antenna combiner fed through a Juice Amplifier to an 8 output Distribution Amplifier. We are about 70 miles from the transmitters. We have it on a temporary mast at about 25' above ground level, System is performing as the sales rep told us it would at 40' above ground level. We will be able to give more accurate review of its true value after we get our 40' tower set up.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great piece I bought this combiner with an antenna combo. It all went together well. Only wish the ports on the bottom were a bit bigger to accommodate larger cable connectors. I live 55 and 60miles from towers north and south. I get every channel in both directions. I get channels to the west I never knew existed.
