Rated 3 out of 5 by from Almost, but not quite. I bought this in an attempt to resolve a situation of weak reception for our "main" TV. Unfortunately, it was no better (possibly weaker) in drawing in signals than the antenna I wanted to replace. I was going to return the antenna until I came up with an alternative use. That was to use it with a portable 24" flat screen TV. The Eclipse antenna adheres nicely to the back of the TV so that is always with the TV and out of the way and it reliably picks up the signal thereby eliminating rabbit ears. So, while it did not solve the problem for which it was bought, the Eclipse antenna turned out to work like a charm in a secondary application.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Game Day is finally here!! I've been a long time cable cutter but I have missed out on the local television and mostly those big games. Its been a real drag to get down to my local bar when all you want to do is catch the game at home. So i took the chance with an antenna and in the matter of minutes I had HD quality football game in my living room. I'm very excited how this turned out! My only suggest is that if you have a tv in your living room and its near a window this set up is idle. If not you might want something with a little more power or with a stand. The stickyness doesnt really work on orange peel wall texture. Luckily I have a glass cabinet that it will hold on to and get good reception.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Free TV After cutting cable TV, which I was paying for but almost never watching, I bought this indoor antenna to get local stations. Just hanging it on the wall when needed, it will bring in about 20 stations here in Baltimore (most of which I will never watch) with excellent results. PBS unfortunately does not come in so clearly, though moving the antenna around I might get better results. Well worth $40. Highly satisfied. I notice that the sound is analog, which requires RCA cables between my TV and sound bar. This is not owing to the antenna, but it may be helpful info for users who cut the cord.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Who needs cable? Currently cutting the cord. And after extensive online research, I found this one to be the best antenna. Wanted to get and test before contract with DirecTV runs up, want to be sure of my decision come May (end of 2 year). Has been in use for 3 weeks now, with great picture and no issues. Only suggestion, place antenna in window, instead of to wall, for best reception. This coupled a $20 sling TV bill and bye bye $135 direcTV bill. And they have great customer service if you need it, you can actually speak to a real live person!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Works well on Second Floor not so good on First First installed on my first floor TV via patio glass door only got 15 stations and no PBS. Moved to wall facing a different direction (not glass) got 25 stations still no PBS and lost METV. As I was removing from the wall to try upstairs TV it took a small piece out of my wall; so the adhesive I would say is too strong for a painted wallboard. Upstairs TV almost same location as downstairs TV gets 45 stations with antenna on a window facing the same way as the first floor where I only received 15 stations. Also downstairs the picture was wavy at times. In short, needs to be high to get the most out of it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Doing the job very nicely I bought this antenna as part of my cable-cutting strategy. I don't think I'm exactly pushing its range limits, being fairly close to the local broadcast antennas, but I have consistently been getting a nice clear picture on pretty much all the channels I was hoping to pick up. That doesn't even seem to depend much on which direction I point it in, meaning I have been able to position it more for aesthetics than performance. Antenna performance varies with signal bearing of course, but at least in my case, the signal is still good enough. Your mileage may vary. I feel this antenna is providing very good value for money, so am quite pleased with my purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Throw away those rabbit ears Even though I live in the city and within 10 miles of local stations, the old rabbit ears weren't getting good reception, and one local station wouldn't come in at all. I don't want to pay for cable and hoped to avoid having to install an outdoor antenna. After reading several reviews online, I ordered the Clear Stream Eclipse and received it a few days later. It took a couple of minutes to hook up; I instantly had great reception and was able to stick it to the wall behind my TV. I'm happy now with just dsl, my Roku and Amazon Prime subscription.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Savings that are Spectacular !!! I bought my ClearStream Eclipse about one month ago. I was sick of paying $184 per month to one of the giants in the industry. That amounted to about $11,040 in a five year period. I spent less than $80 for my ClearStream amplified antenna that includes shipping costs. That is a one time charge !!! Granted, I have a separate charge for internet now, but I can assure you my five year bill will be no where near $11,040.. . I currently get over 90 channels. Thank you ClearStream. Barry Rollins
