AT&T is raising DirecTV’s prices by up to $8 a month in mid-January, and smaller providers are planning increases as well. According to an analysis of government data, prices for pay-TV service have risen almost twice as fast as inflation! S&P Global Market Intelligence says customers’ cable and satellite TV bills have gone up 53 % since 2007. There’s a trend here, and it’s that pay-TV is continuing to cost more, and it\u2019s not decreasing anytime soon!<\/p>\n

So, now let’s get down to the numbers. Let’s say the average cable bill is $103 a month. That is $1236 a year<\/strong> you would save when cancelling your cable bill. Now, what items do you need to create the ultimate cord-cutters dream setup?<\/p>\n
