Step 1: The Basics
You are going to need at least one antenna and a cable to deliver over-the-air signals to your HD-ready TV.
Antennas
(Required)
Start with one of Antennas Direct's best-in-class antennas. We recommend the ClearStream™ 2, but feel free to compare each model to get what fits your particular application.
Cabling
(Required)
There are basically 3 types of coaxial cable: Low-Loss RG6, Quad-Shield RG6 and RG11. For most applications, the low-loss option will do just fine. But, if you have long cables runs and/or outdoor applications go with the higher grades.
Pre-Amplifiers / Amplifiers
(Required)
To complete your BYO bundle, you will need to add one amplifier. Don't worry, you will be able to add additional accessories in the next step.
