ClearStream DTV / HDTV Antennas
New breakthroughs in efficiency & size. The first all new HDTV antennas optimized for the post 2009 digital frequencies. Designed for reception on high VHF (Ch 7-13) and core UHF (ch 14-51). Ultra efficient design now allows powerful DTV antennas to be smaller than ever thought possible.
Popular digital antennas may claim high “peak” gains on specific frequencies, but the ClearStream models are consistently powerful across the entire DTV spectrum. With other compact antennas as little as 10% of the signal may actually reach the tuner. Advancements in efficiency mean that up to 98% of the signal actually makes it to the line rather than being lost to impedance mismatches.
For most locations, the ClearStream 1,2 or 4 will receive all HDTV signals in the area. However, some DTV stations that have reverted back to VHF frequencies may have also cut their power by over 90%. For these low power VHF DTV stations, a ClearStream 5 VHF HDTV antenna may be required as a supplement.
