Outdoor
Antennas
Outdoor TV antennas typically represent
one’s best opportunity for receiving TV signals. Because
outdoor antennas are traditionally mounted on a rooftop
and have a better line of site to the transmitting towers
with fewer impediments like trees, buildings, walls, or
roofing materials, they have a distinct advantage over
indoor and attic antennas. For people living long
distances from the transmitting towers, long range outdoor
antennas are often the only option for receiving signals. Outdoor
antennas can also be mounted onto the sides of ones house,
decks, or on poles if roof tops are not available.
It is important to note that while many
subdivisions, communities, and apartment/condominium complexes
have rules against the use of outdoor TV antennas, you have
the legal right to erect an antenna on property you either
own or control. Your rights regarding antenna installations
on your property are explained in more detail on the FCC's
web site.
At Antennas Direct, all of our outdoor
antennas are designed to withstand harsh environments and
are backed by a Limited
Lifetime Warranty.
