Will the sun’s UV radiation affect the plastic parts of the antenna. I have a Clearstream4 antenna. It is mounted on my roof in sunny Colorado. So far I am very pleased with this antenna. It has exceeded my expectations. – From Steve in Fort Collins, Colorado

Glad to hear that you are enjoying your Clearstream4. Our outdoor antennas and parts are built to withstandoutdoor conditions from hot and sunny days to stormy weather. The plastic parts should remain intact after years of outdoor use.
Of course in very harsh weather such as tornados with high winds, things on your house will become vulnerable to these conditions. Also, the plastic antenna base is for indoor use only. This does not come with your antenna. It is used to cover the antenna hardware so it looks nicer inside.
