As a St. Louis company, our community is very important to us. Antennas Direct President and Founder, Richard Schneider, was born and raised in St. Louis. He went to high school here, attended college at Mizzou, and got married and is raising a family right here. So receiving some media attention from our local NBC affiliate, KSDK News Channel 5‘s Show Me St. Louis, was an awesome feeling.
Jimmy V. from Show Me St. Louis came out to our office for the afternoon and we gave him a tour of where the magic happens. We showed him our customer service center, 3D printer where we do mock up antenna samples and our tech lab where we do testing and analytics.
Richard was a home theater enthusiast who started making antennas in his garage as a hobby for his family and friends. Eventually it got to the point that he had orders coming in from all over the United States and he knew if he wanted to keep his wife happy, he needed to take this business out of his house. That’s when Antennas Direct really got started! Since 2003, our sales have grown, as have our team.
